Sonnenberg
ABA Clinics
A community for learning, building, and becoming, at every stage of life.
What We Do
Sonnenberg provides individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs, in Pleasant Prairie, Mount Pleasant and within Sonnenberg Schools in Racine.

Our services include assessment, treatment planning, and therapy across multiple locations. Each plan is designed around the individual’s strengths, needs, and daily environments.

Sonnenberg offers center-based services where each person can learn, build skills, and grow at a pace that makes sense for them. Using the principles of ABA, we teach meaningful skills, address maladaptive behaviors, and help progress carry into everyday routines, relationships, and community settings.

Each client receives 1:1 support at every level. As they are ready, we gently introduce new opportunities that encourage independence, curiosity, and continued growth. As participants gain confidence, they have opportunities to use their skills in different rooms, routines, activities, and group settings. This helps new skills become more comfortable and useful in everyday situations.
What is ABA Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA, is a science-based approach to understanding behavior and learning. It looks at how people interact with their environment, what happens before and after a behavior, and how those patterns can be used to teach meaningful skills.

ABA is often used to help individuals build communication, social, daily living, learning, and independence skills. It can also help reduce maladaptive behaviors that may be unsafe, overwhelming, or are a barrier to learning and participation.

ABA is not about changing who a person is. It is about understanding what a person needs, teaching skills in a way that makes sense for them, and building on their strengths so progress carries into homes, relationships, and community life.
